The newly posted Customs Area Controller (CAC) of Seme Customs Command, Compt. Dera Nnadi has kicked off the fight against smuggling with a mind-boggling seizure of over $6million, equivalent to N2.7billion.

Nnadi while unveiling the foreign currency notes intercepted by his combatant officers at a press conference at Some Command, said his officers demonstrated superior intelligence over economic saboteurs which led to the interception and arrest.

He revealed that the fake currency notes were intercepted along Gbaji area of Lagos, through credible intelligence.

According to him, the Command swiftly arrested two suspects in connection with the seizure.

Other prohibited items seized by the Command include petroleum products, Donkey skin, fake flour, among other offensive materials.
