The West Africa Container Terminal (WACT) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has said it will be halting its yard operations for 12 hours on Tuesday, 28th June 2022.

This was made known in a statement by APM Terminals on Thursday. “In our drive to continuously improve our services, kindly be informed that there is a planned upgrade of our Terminal Operating System for 12 hours – from 8:00pm on Tuesday, 28th June to 8:00am on Wednesday 29th June 2022,” APM Terminals stated.

It also noted that WACT Termview and Book Exam platforms will be unavailable this period as all its customers will not perform online transactions during this 12-hour period.

“During this period, our yard operations activities will be halted. Also, WACT Termview and Book Exam platforms will be unavailable; hence, customers will not perform online transactions during this 12-hour period.”

While apologizing to its customers, APM Terminals said “Kindly accept our apologies for any inconvenience this downtime might cause. We count on your continuous support and understanding, and we shall update you once the maintenance is complete.”

It urged its customers to reach out WACT Customer Service Team on its official phone numbers and emails available on its website.

The West Africa Container Terminal (WACT) is located in Onne port, part of the Onne Oil and Gas Free Zone. In addition to excellent hinterland connections to the rest of Nigeria, the Terminal offers excellent customer service, trained operators, modern handling equipment and superior e-commerce capabilities.
