World’s biggest container vessel ‘Ever Ace’ docks in the UK

The world’s largest containership has arrived in the UK from Rotterdam where it is unloading 3,267 containers. The vessel, called the Ever Ace, holds the record for the most containers loaded on to a single ship.

The vessel which was built in 2021 and is operated by Taiwanese shipping company Evergreen Marine Corporation arrived at the Port of Felixstowe in Suffolk, the biggest and busiest container port in Britain, on Sunday morning.

Ever Ace, a 1,300ft (400m) ship is capable of carrying 23,992 standard containers, holding the record for the most containers loaded on to a single ship.

The Ever Ace left Felixstowe on Wednesday evening after loading 2,300 containers and is en route to the port of Hamburg, Germany, expected to arrive there on Jul 10, 23:59.

The vessel EVER ACE (IMO: 9893890, MMSI 352986146) is currently sailing under the flag of Panama.
