Singapore-based ocean carrier Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced new partnership with Greek logistics operator Go Shipping in its fight against breast cancer known as the ONE Pink Ribbon campaign.

The ONE Pink Ribbon campaign was launched in the later months of 2021 aiming to increase the awareness of breast cancer across the globe.

ONE branded 100 of its iconic magenta containers to feature the pink ribbon, an international symbol for breast cancer awareness that promotes the importance of early detection of breast cancer. Donations are made by ONE’s customers per Pink Ribbon container shipment. The donation will then be matched by ONE, with all money raised to go to different breast cancer charities around the world.

ONE has partnered with Go Shipping to transport two of the Pink Ribbon boxes across the globe. The two containers arrived in Piraeus, Greece from Shanghai, China, at the request of Go Shipping, which has donated US$800, which will be matched by ONE and all proceeds will be donated to Breast International Group (BIG), an international not-for-profit organisation for academic breast cancer research groups from around the world.

Konstantinos Lagos, chairman and managing director of Go Shipping, commented, “As someone who cares deeply about the fight against breast cancer, I am honored to have been able to make a donation to support your crucial work.”

He went on to say, “Knowing that my contribution is helping support your initiatives brings me a sense of fulfillment and purpose. Breast cancer affects countless lives around the world, and your organisation’s commitment to making a positive change inspires me greatly. By working together, we can bring hope and strength to those facing this challenging journey.”

ONE’s director of marketing and commercial for Europe & Africa, Stanley Smulders noted, “ONE is excited to partner with Go Shipping on this benevolent shipment. It is through collaborations and donations like this that help fund essential research and create awareness globally.”
