Media to hold a One-Day Colloquium in honour of Late Otunba Kunle Folarin

Media Friends of Late Otunba Kunle Folarin will on Thursday, January 19, 2023 join with the Nigerian Ports Consultative Council, NPCC, to hold a One-Day Colloquium in honour of the late maritime sage, Otunba Kunle Folarin.

Captains of industry, dignitaries, friends, maritime journalists, associates and family members of the late sage who passed on November 8, 2022, will be in attendance.

The event which is slated to take place at the Rockview Hotel, GRA Apapa Lagos will be chaired by Capt. Emmanuel lheanacho, with a lead presentation titled “Ensuring Effective Disbursement of Cabotage Vessel Financing” to be delivered by Jean Chiazor Anishere SAN.

A panel of discussants on the topic includes the Director General, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA); Dr Bashir Jamoh, Shipowners Association of Nigeria (SOAN) President, Dr. MkGeorge Onyoung, Mrs. Funke Agbo, and Chief Johnson Chukwu,a financial expert.

The event, which is billed to begin by 9am prompt, is open to all maritime stakeholders.
